Perform Good Actions Expecting Nothing in Return

We have to do good things in this world, not because we’ll gain a good result or good karma. That’s only for children, for the beginning, for beginners in practice, who still need awards, merit, punishment, praise and blame. But as we go to a higher dimension, a higher level of consciousness, we forget all this. We do whatever is necessary to benefit other people and whatever is righteous according to our conscience, not expecting anything at all in return.
