Master’s Message of Liberation
Reaches Haeundae Beach
[Busan] On February 26, 2006, fellow initiates held a video seminar to introduce Master’s teachings to the public at Haeundae Beach, Busan, one of Korea’s most famous beaches. Busan has a population of 4.5 million and its Haeundae District is a symbol of Busan’s international relations as well as a center of culture.
Many of the fellow initiates, with a great deal of experience in working cooperatively together, enthusiastically prepared for the event. The working team focused on the promotion of both Alternative Living and the upcoming seminar, ‘Key to a Happy Life.’ On the back of the Alternative Living leaflet, they printed the seminar schedule and distributed it in the city streets and at subway stations. People’s response was great and many showed interest in the alternative way of life. One lady considered the leaflet to be an invitation ticket for the seminar and asked for more.
Finally on the day of the seminar, many interested people came to the hall at Haeundae Beach and listened very attentively to Master’s lecture. They understood Master’s view for an enlightened life, and quite a few applied to learn the Convenient Method of meditation. Some of them even asked for initiation and promised to be fully vegetarian for the rest of their life.
Many attendees showed serious consideration for vegetarianism and meditation practice and asked the initiates numerous questions. When some latecomers turned up, initiates decided to hold a second thirty-minute meditation session just for them. The new CM practitioners were satisfied from within and grateful for the opportunity to learn the meditation method.
One of the seminar guests was a journalist and a publisher of ‘Well-Being Meditation,’ a monthly magazine. After showing great interest in the Quan Yin Method of meditation and The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association, he asked the initiates some meaningful questions and said he wanted to write an article for the magazine. Initiates promised to provide him with the necessary information to introduce Master and Her teachings in his magazine.
After
the seminar, fellow practitioners gave all the attendees packs containing
vegetarian snacks. There were 250 packs in total that had been prepared
by sincere brothers and sisters. The recipients were thankful for the
initiates’ thoughtful arrangement.
Even though the night was chilly at the closure of the seminar,
everyone’s heart was warmed through sharing Master’s message
of enlightenment. Korean initiates sincerely thank Master for a successful
seminar. Thank You for Your great love, Master!
