"The Perfect"

Celestial Jewelry

By Brother-initiate Asen, Formosa (Originally in Chinese)
"We should be true, beautiful and virtuous in spirit, speech and in actions; that is a perfect human being. Remember you are the Light. Never forget and sink into the physical existence of this body. Rise above the waves so that you may go into the tranquil ocean which is in the middle. There you'll meet no more waves, no obstacles, nothing."
~ Supreme Master Ching Ha

The above aphorism was spoken by Master in 1995, ten years before the 11th- generation Celestial Jewelry "The Perfect" was created. When I appreciated carefully these words of wisdom by Master, suddenly it occurred to me that "The Perfect" Celestial Jewelry was designed precisely based on this aphorism. Each sentence is closely linked to each section of "The Perfect". It seemed as though Master had crossed space and time ten years ago to make an elaborated illustration of this Celestial Jewelry collection.

Inlaid in triangular shapes to reflect the qualities of Truth, virtue and beauty, "The Perfect" is carved with tiny sections of amethyst that look just like surging waves, symbolizing the upheaval of the material world. Inside the waves is the basic gold material, the surface of which is carved with ripples on the Sea of Light, symbolizing our radiant Self-Nature.

The triangular shapes designed by Master are more rounded instead of being rigidly straight, meaning that spiritual practitioners should maintain their principles while flexibly handling matters without stubbornly adhering to rules.

The necklace of "The Perfect" collection contains equal numbers of golden and amethyst triangles, but the golden ones are bigger in size. This means that spiritual practitioners, while focusing on their inner spiritual world, should also not neglect their obligation in the material world. But, of course, the main focus should still be on spiritual practice.

From this collection of Celestial Jewelry-"The Perfect", I realized that only through our inner self can we penetrate the material illusion and find our radiant original nature, and be flexible or stern as appropriate. While diligently searching for our inner real self, we ought to take care of our worldly obligations too. Only a spiritual practitioner who has Truth, virtue and beauty can be revered as "The Perfect".
