The Vegetarian “Snow”

Snow is a female Husky dog, who is light coffee and white colored, was adopted by Sister Chen when she was about two to three months old. Once at New Year's time, the family purchased lots of food and some was placed in a cardboard box. Snow opened the box and took out a white turnip and a dragon fruit to eat, disregarding the sharp taste of the raw white turnip.

The 5 year old Snow has been on a vegetarian diet for more than 4 years. She is understanding, friendly, independent, and well behaved. Her eyes are filled with peace and gentleness, different from regular Husky dogs, which attracts people to come close to her. She likes to participate in public welfare activities. In Golden Year 3 (2006), she attended the parade of “Save the lives of our animal friends—no meat at New Year's feasts!” at the Taipei 101 Building business circle, a call to the public to treat animal friends with true love. After observing Snow's behavior, it was obvious to Sister Chen that the dog was very clear about the meaning and the goal of the parade. Because of Snow's unique attributes and actions, she appeared in a special report in a local newspaper.

Master cares about the quality of life of the dear pets, and designed a series of items for them. Sister Chen happily dressed up her lovely Snow, who excitedly put on happy doggie celestial clothes with a scarf tied on her neck, presenting a virtuous young lady's noble and gentle charm, contrary to Husky dog's heroic and robust appearance. Snow also took part in the photo taking of the loving doghouses. The photographer brother expressed that Snow seemed to understand his words and acted accordingly, so the photo taking process went through smoothly.

Furthermore, Snow enjoys the Food for the Lively Doggie very much from Loving Food. The way she wolfs down her meal shows how nutritious and how wonderful the taste of pet food is. It's not hard to understand why Snow has healthy shiny hair and is always full of spirit, since she is dressed up in the happy doggie celestial clothes with Master's blessing and eating nutritious healthy food everyday.

The Revived Black Treasure

Sister Lin is raising an 18 year old animal companion called Black Treasure. She brought the puppy home from the street when she was about 3 months old. Now, the aged Black Treasure has become almost deaf, her hair has been falling out, and the hair around the eyes is turning gray. Each day, she lay on the floor without even much energy to greet the family members when they came home.

After the Food for the Lively Doggie from Loving Food was launched, Sister Lin bought it to feed the Black Treasure, who happily ate it everyday. Miraculously, new hair started to grow, turning the thin hair to long and shiny black. The dog has also become more energetic and spirited. Now, every day she is able to stand up, move around and greet her companions, strikingly different from the sick and tired state in the past. Sister Lin's whole family is very happy to see that the Black Treasure has restored her vigor, and they attribute the miracle to Master Mommy's blessings and the balanced nutrition as well as proper physical exercise. Master said that we need to treat animals with love and proper care. Sister Lin understands the true meaning of Master's words through Black Treasure's recovery.

The New Life of the Stray Dog Lucky

Lucky is a female dog of a local Formosan breed. She was adopted when she was 2 months old by Sister Li's husband as arranged by the Taipei County Life Care Association. Probably due to the lack of care, the puppy was weak and skinny, weighing only around 2 kilograms. When Sister Li first saw the dog, she prayed for Master's blessings. She tried her best to help Lucky to recover her health. Under constant medical attendance and nutritional supplements, Lucky's health is getting better day by day.

Lucky loves the Food for the Lively Doggie from Loving Food, and always eats up every meal completely. She seems to realize that she has not only enjoyed the delicious food but also obtained the additional spiritual nourishment. Now, Lucky has become vigorous and healthy with shiny black hair, and weighs more than 11 kilograms. She is very different than the skinny and weak little puppy she was when she was adopted. Sister Li believes that it is God's arrangement for her family to expand their compassion through taking care of Lucky and for Lucky to get to know Master. It is amazing to see Lucky's calm and attentive expression every time she listens to Master's audio tape. Sister Li wholeheartedly hopes that all beings can live happily and healthily under Master's blessings like Lucky does.
