ValleVegan is an association that came into being in January, Golden Year 3 (2006), in the countryside an hour away from Rome. It is a rural dwelling with 11 hectares of land that was bought from an animal farmer who went out of business. He left behind a lot of animals, most of them very sick. These animals are now being cared for by the founders of the association. The key ideas of the association
are: nature, life in freedom, vegan life style and animal freedom.
ValleVegan is a symbol; it is the transformation of a place used in
the past for butchering, hunting and intensive agriculture into a
place without boundaries, without suffering and without exploitation.
