In
1991, the Filipino Reporter honored Supreme Master Ching Hai the
award for Exemplary Humanitarian to show their gratitude for Her
relief efforts rendered to the victims of the Mt. Pinatubo volcano
eruptions. |

Manila, the Philippines, honored Supreme Master Ching Hai an award
for promotion of human rights (and in the Achievement of Universal

presented Supreme Master Ching Hai the Key of Honorary Citizenship.

1991, the ROC-Philippines Legislators Association awarded Supreme
Master Ching Hai a pennant to show their gratitude for Her help
to the victims of the Mt. Pinatubo volcano eruptions. |

In
1991, Dr. Rene G. Santos, Chairman of Asian Pacific Youth Freedom
League, presented a plaque of recognition to Supreme Master Ching
Hai for Her outstanding leadership as a person of peace, goodwill
and understanding and utmost concern and welfare for the Aulacese
refugees in the Philippine Asylum Centers. |

In
1992, Mr. Emil F. Danciu, Mayor of Boca Raton, Florida, USA, presented
Master the key of the city as an award.

In
1993, Mayor of Honolulu, USA, awarded the International Peace
Award and an Honorary Citizenship to Supreme Master Ching Hai
and announced October 25 as the “The Supreme Master Ching
Hai Day.” He also presented a commemorative bronze statue
of Supreme Master Ching Hai, which was later displayed permanently
in a public place in the City of Honolulu for all to admire.

1993, Governor Fife Symington of Arizona, USA, honored Supreme Master
Ching Hai an Honorable Citizenship. |

In
1993, Mayor Frank Jordan of San Francisco, California, USA, presented
Supreme Master Ching Hai the Award of Merit in recognition of Her
humanitarian contribution to the world. |

In
1994, the Governors of the six Midwest states (Illinois, Iowa,
Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri and Minnesota), USA, honored Supreme
Master Ching Hai with the World Spiritual Leadership Award and
bronze statues of Supreme Master Ching Hai. February 22 was designated
as “The Supreme Master Ching Hai Day.” Mr. Chen Hung
Kwang, General Secretary of the World Cultural Communication Association,
and the Governors of the six Midwest states presented Supreme
Master Ching Hai an award of merit for Her kind contribution to
flood victims in the Midwest, USA, and another award for the relief
efforts rendered to the victims of the Mount Pinatubo volcanic
eruptions in the Philippines.

1994, Mrs. Barbara J. Finch, Director of the International Federation
of Human Rights, and Mr. Chen Hung Kwang, General Secretary of
the World Cultural Communication Association, presented Supreme
Master Ching Hai the World Humanitarian Leadership Award. They
also invited Her to be the Honorable Advisor in Chief of the International
Federation for Human Rights.

1994, Thailand Government presented Supreme Master Ching Hai
the Star of Noble Life Award.

1994, the GMMSF (Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation)
and the Filipino Institute of Social and Livelihood Development
honored Supreme Master Ching Hai the International Humanitarian

1994, the Chancellor of Radio for Peace International and of the
University of Global Education, Dr. Richard Schneider, presented
the World Citizen Humanitarian Award to Supreme Master Ching Hai
|
In
1994, Supreme Master Ching Hai was awarded the Humanitarian Paragon
Medal, by the Asian Pacific Youth Freedom League & Rotary
Club, in the Philippines.

In
1995, Cambodia’s First and Second Prime Ministers honored
Supreme Master Ching Hai the Award of National Construction in
Cambodia.

In
1999, the Mayor of Yerevan, Mr. Suren Abrahamyan presented Master
with a certificate and silver medal for Her charitable activities. |

In
1999, the Government of Formosa awarded Supreme Master Ching Hai
a plaque to commend Her for Her charitable contribution to the 9/21
earthquake relief efforts. |
|
In
2002, the 9th Annual Los Angeles Music Week and the City of Los
Angeles honored Supreme Master Ching Hai as an artist. They also
presented Master with the Certificate of Commendation signed by
Los Angeles Mayor and a pure crystal plaque.

In
2003, the International Emperor Shun Culture University (IESCU),
USA, inaugurated Supreme Master Ching Hai as the Honorary Dean,
unveiling a bronze statue of Her. The IESCU also presented the
Golden Emperor Shun Trophy and a medal of Emperor Shun Award to
Master Ching Hai.

In
2006, “The Peace Seeker,” featuring Supreme Master
Ching Hai’s poetry, won the first place award in the 27th
Annual Telly Awards.

In
2006, the Philippines-based Gusi Peace Prize Foundation honored
Master with the Gusi Peace Prize in recognition of Her global
contribution in Philanthropy and Humanitarianism.

Awards from The
Formosan Government and Social Organizations
For many years, The Supreme Master
Ching Hai International Association held
hundreds of spiritual seminars in prisons throughout Formosa. The
Association has been caring for the inmates and teaching them meditation.
The Association was invited as a long-term group of honorary probation
officers and was also awarded multiple times for its excellent performance
by many governmental offices, including the Ministry of Justice
in Formosa and the State Public Prosecutor General’s Office,
High Court of Formosa.

The
Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association has received
many certificates of appreciation for its devotion in various charitable
and public-interest activities, including disaster relief, cleaning
the beach and environment, cleaning highways, giving to the destitute
and orphaned, helping the elderly and children, offering free medical
services, caring for the homeless, book contributions, holding spiritual
seminars, art exhibitions, etc.
