The Shuttle Bus Delivered by Master

Once a thunderstorm swept across Taoyuan region in Formosa. It was so big and sudden that many roads were severely flooded. It happened to be our group meditation day in Taoyuan Center. After meditation, I rode my motorcycle home and found myself immersed in flooding water up to my knees. The motorcycle stopped running, and refused to start again. Late at night, I could not find a repair station. I called in my heart: “Master, please help!”

There was a gas station by the roadside. With great effort, I pushed the motorcycle to the station, and told the staff my problem. They heartily suggested to me to park my motorcycle there and take it the next day.

Without my motorcycle, the only way to go home was by bus. It was almost time for the bus to stop running. Also, I happened to have not brought enough money to get a taxi. When I was wondering how to get home, a bus came from the far end of the road. However, the bus was full of passengers, and did not stop. Just as I was very disappointed, my eyes were brightened up again: another bus followed the first one. I immediately waved to the bus. And, as soon as I got onto the bus, I realized that I was the only passenger. Talking to the bus driver, I learned that it was the very last bus of the day.

If the bus had followed its route, I would have to transfer to another route to be able to get home. However, there was no other bus on the road at the time. After understanding my situation, the good-hearted driver said to me: “Since this is the very last bus without other passengers, and there is bad flooding outside, I will change the route and deliver you to home directly.” The bus then headed directly to my house.

Under difficult situations, we could often experience more of Master’s power at work. Thank you, Master, for Your meticulous arrangements to take care of the every day life of your disciple.
