Spreading Positive News at Asian’s Festival in San Francisco

Besides spreading Supreme Master Television through major newspapers, local cable TV and radio, we also have a poster of Supreme Master Television at a busy bus stop for two months.

[San Francisco] During the Third Annual Asian Heritage event in San Francisco on May 19, Golden Year 4 (2007), the brothers and sisters of San Francisco Center had a booth to distribute Alternative Living flyers and spread the Supreme Master Television message. Our initiates spoke to the festival attendees about Master’s teachings, also presenting our magazines and sample booklets to those interested.

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom commented to our group, “You guys are good people,” when we presented him an Alternative Living Hat and introduced him to Supreme Master Television.

When speaking to the festival attendees about Supreme Master Television, some mentioned they have saved Supreme Master Television’s website as a favorite. Most of the people we talked to were interested to check out Supreme Master Television to learn more. Hundreds of fortune cookies with Master’s aphorisms; hundreds of balloons with Supreme Master Television’s website and loving message “Go Veggie”; five hundred alternative living bags; and ten thousand flyers were distributed to the public to promote healthier living and spread the good news around the world.

[Washington D.C.] On May 12, Golden Year 4 (2007), thousands of people came to Washington D.C. to celebrate the Asian American Heritage Festival. Our Association members from Maryland and Virginia set up a booth in a prominent location at the festival to share delicious vegetarian food to the public. The booth was decorated with images of lovely animals, excerpts from the Alternative Living flyer and the Universal Peace flag designed by Master. Vegetarian food at the booth, tagged with appealing and positive names, constantly attracted passersby. During the festival, fellow initiates also distributed to the crowds Alternative Living and Supreme Master Television flyers, and flyers for an upcoming free video seminar.

With Master’s blessing we had a wonderful seminar at the Northeast Neighborhood Library the weekend after the Asian Festival. Before the seminar started, people who knew about our seminar from Asian Festival were already there. One of the librarians told us, “It is a very good thing that you conduct this nice seminar here.” After reading about the Quan Yin Method from our seminar flyer, a couple of people in the library computer room joined our seminar.

A young woman came to the seminar late and was relieved to find the meditation session had not yet started. She explained that she had attended our seminar in D.C. about half year ago, but could not stay for the Convenient Method meditation session. She was so happy to find out about the seminar from the library’s News Circulation.

After the meditation session, some who previously practiced other meditation techniques encouraged each other to start a vegetarian diet and focus on this particular meditation method. They showed great appreciation towards our Master for arranging such an opportunity for them. We congratulated them and felt so happy that God’s grace fell upon them. One of the new Convenient Method practicing brothers even stayed behind and offered to help us clean the meeting room. He loved the poster that we put outside the library and asked if he could keep it. We were so touched by his sincerity that we presented him the poster as a gift from Master and gave him “The Real Heroes” DVD as a reminder to continue having strong faith and to stick to his vegetarian diet. He was extremely overjoyed.

[San Jose] From May 12 to 13, Golden Year 4 (2007), San Jose initiates set up a booth at the Mother’s Day fair at the Cupertino Memorial Park in California, USA. They especially designed games for both kids and adults. The adults were awarded with Alternative Living bio-degradable bags if they answered environmental questions correctly. Children were awarded with balloons printed with the Supreme Master Television web site and fortune cookies containing Master’s aphorisms for winning at these fun games, such as differentiating between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Many kids were happily lined up for the games. Several people expressed their appreciation of Master’s television program. One person even suggested we put our Alternative Living bags in all big chain stores. Through games involving questions and answers, a few teenagers were surprised to know that vegetarians can save the Earth and decided to watch Supreme Master Television. Some people further enquired about Master’s teachings or came to learn the Convenient Method of meditation.

[Providence] On May 26, Golden Year 4 (2007), Association members of Boston Center held a public video seminar in Providence Public Library, in the capital of the U.S. state of Rhode Island, to share Master’s teaching and information about Supreme Master Television with the local people. All guests felt very blessed and eager to share their uplifted feelings with Association members, including an old gentleman having very good spiritual vision during the Convenient Method meditation. Our hearts are full of joy and happiness. We are truly the luckiest in the whole universe to bathe in God’s boundless love and blessing. Thank you Dearest Master for always being with us.
