Born in Kenya, Mr. Mike Pandey is a conservationist and a world-renowned Indian filmmaker. With his keen observation, he has produced a series of wildlife conservation documentary films, which are held in high esteem and have won hundreds of international awards.

In his documentary “Earth Matters,” which captured the Golden Giraffe Award, Mr. Pandey explored the issue of natural-resource depletion, reminding the public of the importance of environmental conservation. “Shores of Silence - Whale Sharks in India,” a documentary that earned him the Green Oscar, revealed the cruel slaughter of whale sharks along the Indian coast of Gujarat. This shocking truth spurred the Indian Government to enact the Indian Wildlife Act of 1972, thus saving tens of thousands of whale sharks and other wildlife from a brutal fate.

To raise global concern for ecological and wildlife conservation, Mr. Pandey established Earth Matters Foundation to promote his inspiring films. The Foundation has set up a website to introduce these valuable documentaries to the whole world.

When asked about his views on a proper diet, Mr. Pandey, who is himself a vegetarian, said that the alkaline diet is the key to survival for living beings on Earth. He believed that the vegetarian diet is the best choice, because 80% of vegetables are alkaline and the vegetarian diet brings mental stability.

When Mr. Pandey saw Master’s “The Dogs and the Birds in My Life” DVD, he was awed by Her love and concern for animals. Praising Her noble soul, he thanked Her for “bringing Light into the darkness ... lighting the lamp in millions of hearts.” “With the warmth and ocean of compassion and love, thank You for creating the life, the force, of love,” he further added. Mr. Pandey also pointed out that love, which knows no boundaries, has been the fastest way of communication between him in India and Supreme Master Ching Hai in Europe.
