Happiness Grows with Spiritual Practice
Bangkok
International 6-Day Retreat, Thailand
December 27~28, 1999 |
|
Highlights:
In this CD, fellow initiates raise
many questions about spiritual practice and daily life. For example:
Should we strictly adhere to the correct proportion of the sound and
light meditation? Is it better to keep the same posture throughout
meditation? How do we choose between doing a worldly job and “putting
down everything” to help share Master’s teachings? Master
reminds us: “It is our goal to progress in spiritual practice,
feel happy and at ease, and help others to enjoy the same blissful
state.” She also shares this good news: “Even if I teach
only one Chinese person, all the Chinese will benefit.”

The Preciousness of Age
Bangkok
International 6-Day Retreat, Thailand

Highlights:
Master praises elderly people
for their greater beauty as they possess boundless love and
wisdom. Therefore, it is better for grandparents, rather than
young parents, to raise the children. Master also patiently
answers spiritual questions from fellow initiates, such as:
How can we concentrate better in our spiritual practice and
develop our love and wisdom? How can we progress if we have
few experiences of inner Light and Sound? Will it affect our
spiritual practice if our job involves checking fengshui for
people? What is the difference between the “Pure Land”
and “Nirvana” in Buddhism and the “Heaven”
in the Western culture? For fellow practitioners who have difficulty
concentrating during meditation, Master teaches them how to
relax and the correct way to meditate.
