A Special Time
to Remember God

Compiled by USA News Group (Originally in English)

From August 20 to September 10, Golden Year 5 (2008), an international silent retreat was held at a beautiful property in Europe. Around 3,000 disciples from all over the world attended at different times. Master spent quality time with each group, blessing them in many ways and sharing inspiring spiritual stories. She also surprised everyone with Her new line of clothing featuring the “Go Veg” message.

Initiates’ arrival at the venue was met with a hushed atmosphere of quiet, together with the tranquility of the place, creating a joyful sense of anticipation. The accommodation was lovely and included a refreshing garden of mature trees and flowers, all exquisitely groomed. Many attendees were drawn to meditate outdoors in the garden area during the day and night.

In spending time with different groups of disciples, Master would often quietly enter the meditation hall to bless the initiates, many of whom were moved to tears by Her immense love. She also took time to share many ancient stories about such legendary spiritual figures as Lao Tzu, as well as the first three wise kings of China and other virtuous sages. She explained that the “skill of welding gold” and the “secret of immortality” in Taoist tradition were actually referring to spiritual practice.

Through the reading of these ancient stories, Master shared with us the wisdom that could be applied to our own journey. In a tale from the Middle East, She mentions a Saint who was traveling to Mecca on a spiritual pilgrimage and came across a badly injured dog. With no thought for himself, he carried the dog and then went to great lengths to get it water. Through this God-arranged experience, the Saint came to understand that he no longer “needed” to travel to Mecca, as he had already achieved the original purpose of the pilgrimage through his spontaneous compassion and care for another being.

In another reference to our spiritual development, Master spoke of the importance of our regard for others, suggesting that we strive to be ever-mindful of cultivating the highest qualities of respect and kind consideration:

There are a couple of things that I want to remind you. Everywhere you go, I want you to represent me, like you wouldn’t do what I wouldn’t do. And treat everyone as you would like to be treated. Be a good-mannered person, even in spiritual practice, because that’s the way we should be - not because Master says that. You’re my representative. You do what you think Master would do, in a proper way, even here or anywhere. whatever you do that’s bad, you cannot get anything good out of it. You won’t get anything being selfish. We only get blessing when we are selfless and noble and consider others before ourselves. Treat everyone similarly, always in a good manner, with consideration, love and respect. Be good mannered, noble, elegant, and pretty. Beauty doesn’t always come from the face or the body. Beauty is from inside. There are two kinds of beauty. The beauty from inside is always everlasting and always endearing to everyone.

Master reminded everyone that being a practitioner was training us and that people around us would be affected. She said at one point, “I’m treating you all like Kings and Queens, so you need to go out and be Kings and Queens,” thus inviting us to stand and serve like true royalty in caring for the wellbeing of others.

When speaking of countries and their inhabitants, Master made the direct connection between those who live in a certain country and the leaders of that country. She explained that it’s our energy that has brought a specific leader to us. And that, as we change as a group, so will the demeanor of the leadership in the country. Master was pleased to see more benevolent leaders around the world. Sweden, Iceland and other European nations were cited as examples of countries truly caring for their people and also committed to energy efficiency and low-carbon-footprint sustainability. She said the world is getting better; it is all around us, but we must continue to work toward humanity’s greater compassion during this urgent transitional time, to join the circle of Saints.

Master also reminded everyone to take care of our family and home, saying that without harmony in the home, we cannot do our work well. She went on to mention that our care of the young and the elderly is a reflection of our virtue.

Throughout the retreat, initiates felt Master’s love for Her children permeating the atmosphere like a Divine fragrance. She sweetly said, “I love you all so much,” in the most gentle tone while visiting, and on one occasion even serenaded the disciples with a spontaneous Heavenly song. The love from God in Master’s tender voice touched the hearts of all present, reminding us that the ultimate Source of comfort and sustenance is always there within. Master also expressed that even though She would like us to stay, we needed to go back into the world and keep working diligently to spread the veg message everywhere; then, we would be able to spend more time with Her.

Attendees departed the venue replete and immensely thankful for Master’s boundless love and blessing. May we all be worthy of Her grace as we strive to represent the highest qualities of respect, nobility and beauty.
