[Tokyo] V septembru je vegetarijanska skupnost pripravila vegetarijanski festival v Tokiu. Ob nedeljah, 9. in 16 septembra, je center iz Tokia pripravil kuharske tečaje, z namenom, da bi podprl ta dogodek.
[Tokyo] 29. in 30. septembra, Zlato leto 4 (2007) so imeli v mestnem parku Yoyogi vegetarijansko razstavo leta 2007, kot zaključek vegetarijanskih vikendov. Center iz Tokia je najel stojnico, na kateri je predstavil publikacije in vegetarijansko hrano.

In September of this year, the Japan Vegetarian Society held a Vegetarian Week Festival in Tokyo. One of the special activities this year was the Vegetarian Rally. Each participating group and vegetarian food outlet was required to have their own activity or bazaar sale in September. On Sundays, September 9 and 16, the Tokyo Center held vegetarian cooking classes to support this event.
In the classes, fellow initiates demonstrated the preparation of boiled dumplings and Aulacese cuisine. After that, they had a vegetarian lunch with the guests, enjoying the salad and soup prepared beforehand. One of the participants gladly said that the vegetarian dumplings tasted as good as meat dumplings, and he was eager to recommend it to friends who were not vegetarians.
Many fellow initiates deeply realized that, through holding similar activities, they can promote the Alternative Living lifestyle and Master’s teachings. Therefore, they are now planning to have cooking classes on a regular basis in the future.

On September 29 and 30, Tokyo International Vegetarian Culture Fair 2007 was held in the city’s Yoyogi Park as the final event of Vegetarian Week. At the venue, the Tokyo Center set up one booth for publications and another for vegetarian food, introducing the public to Supreme Master Television and Master’s books, tapes, etc., as well as selling hot veggie buns, vermicelli and other different kinds of vegetarian food.
The big Supreme Master Television poster in front of their booth was especially eye-catching. Many guests were attracted and stopped to watch the Supreme Master Television programs playing there. In this wet and chilly fall season, the hot veggie buns were especially popular, which boosted the initiates’ confidence and motivation in promoting this Alternative Living diet. Most of their patrons were young people, who not only supported the vegetarian lifestyle, but were also looking for genuine blessing. The Tokyo initiates wish that these young people could be as fortunate as they are and will soon receive the guidance of a living Master.

| With deep compassion for animals and concerned about repeated outbreaks of epidemic diseases among animals and humans, Master has offered the world a fundamental solution to the problem by personally designing a friendly but convincing leaflet entitled “Alternative Living” to remind people to choose the vegetarian diet and stop killing in order to overcome global medical crises and save our fellow beings. Master has also instructed all initiates to share this message with their brothers and sisters in every corner of the world. To keep pace with the planet’s ongoing spiritual elevation, the local centers of The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association are holding more and more video seminars and other Truth-sharing events.
