[Taipei] 19. septembra, Zlato leto 4 (2007) je Združenje Najvišje Mojstrice Ching Hai povabilo svoje medijske prijatelje na posebno zabavo s kosilom, kjer so jim podarili Mojstričino darilo in Zahvalo.

[Taichung] Učenci Mojstrice iz centra Taichung so odigrali dramo z naslovom "Imejmo se lepo s psi, ki so naši najboljši prijatelji" v centru Taichung County Seaport Art, dne 29. avgusta, zlato leto 4 (2007).

[Taipei] To express their appreciation to the media for their positive and objective reports about our Association, on September 19, Golden Year 4 (2007), The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association invited these media friends to attend a special dinner party at the Love Ocean Cultural Plaza. Master’s Letter of Appreciation and gifts were also presented to them.

The attendees of the evening included: Mr. Li Yan-qi from the Economic Daily News (EDN), Mr. Wu Bao-an from the Commercial Times, Mr. Guo Guo-zheng from the China Daily News (CDN), Miss Zhong Xian-hua from the China Times, Mr. Qiu Shao-heng from the Taiwan Shin Sheng Daily News (TSSD News), Superintendent Peng Yun-teng and Miss Pang Wei-rong from the Government Procurement Gazette (GPG), Miss Wu Ya-fang from the United Evening News and Mr. Chen Fang-yue from the Apple Daily. It was the first time for most of them to have this kind of social interaction with our Association.

During the party, Mr. Guo Guo-zheng from the CDN said that his colleagues loved the books The Dogs in My Life and The Birds in My life so much that he had to share all his spare copies with them, keeping only one for himself. Mr. Qiu Shao-heng from the TSSD News said that he became acquainted with Supreme Master Ching Hai’s teachings 20 years ago. However, due to a change in his reporting career, he lost contact with us until recently when the new book release of Ptice v mojem življenju was held. At the event, he was very impressed by the warm endeavor and noble quality of our fellow initiates. GPG Superintendent Peng Yun-teng and Mr. Wu Bao-an from the Commercial Times highly praised our group, and hoped that arrangements could be made for them to enjoy a two-day “vacation” at our Hsihu Center. Mr. Li Yan-qi from the EDN felt that the Love Ocean Cultural Plaza was a very unique haven. Originally, he was supposed to leave early due to other commitments, but once here, he was reluctant to leave.

Mr. Chen Fang-yue from the Apple Daily came a bit late, but during the dinner he couldn’t help turning his head to look at Master on the TV screen. He said he was really amazed by everything here, which was totally different from his original expectation! He never imagined that Master in Her daily life could be so simple and amiable. He also didn’t expect to see that all our Association members, who are vegetarians, always face everything with love and a positive attitude. He felt absolutely at home in our place. Under the friendly guidance of fellow initiates, our media friends had a tour of the Love Ocean Cultural Plaza. They all felt very glad to have this opportunity to know more about our Association. They also suggested that we should take more initiative in the future to provide more helpful information to the general public and society, so that they can understand us better.

For members of the media who could not come to the dinner due to their busy schedule, Association members presented the Letters of Appreciation to them on September 20 and 21. They are grateful to the following members and other personages for finding time to meet with them despite their busy schedule: Manager Wu Jia-jun of the News Department of Taiwan TV; Mr. Cheng Yu-jie, Chief of the News Department of GTV; Mr. Zheng Xi-song, Chief of the News Department of China TV; Interviewer and News Producer Zhong Zhi-peng of TVBS; Mr. Tian Yan-qin, Chief of the News Department and Reporters Team Leader Wang Yi-an of CtiTV; General Manager Qiu Guang-sheng of the Sales Department and Deputy Chief Editor Zhou Heng-he of the United Daily News; General Manager Ping Tai-lin of the Advertisement Department of Health World Magazine; Chen Jia-lin, Chief of the News Department of MRT Life Paper; General Manager Zhou Ju-cheng of Upaper; News editor Chen Ying-zhen of AdM Magazine; and Mr. Zheng Cheng-tung, Superintendent of the Business and Planning Department of China Times Weekly. In response to the Letters of Appreciation, many distinguished members of the media humbly said that it is their duty to report positive news in the first place.

The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association is truly grateful to all the media for their support and approval. They believe that the media’s endeavors in spreading positive news will definitely generate more positive energy, which will subsequently elevate the consciousness of the world.

[Taichung] To awaken the love of human beings towards animals, fellow initiates from the Taichung Center performed a drama entitled “Having Fun with Our Dogs; Dogs, Our Best Friends” at the Taichung County Seaport Art Center on August 29, Golden Year 4 (2007). The play, adapted from Master’s new book – The Dogs in My Life drew a huge audience. Miss Jhan Yi-zhen, host of the Radio Taiwan International program “Live Events throughout Formosa,” conducted a telephone interview with the director and producer of this production, hoping to let more people know about this surprisingly delightful stage show, and introduce to the audience the message that the original author wished to convey.

Many parents brought their children to watch the performance that day. Principal Fu Zhu-qin of Taichung County Neixin Elementary School in Dali City commented: “This is an extremely touching drama that emphasizes love for animals. After watching it, children or young people would be imbued with this compassionate ideal and thus have greater love towards animals in the future. I feel the play has successfully conveyed the main theme. Even though all the actors and actresses were not professionals, they still put on a performance that excelled the professional drama groups. I am really impressed!” A lady working in a school also said: “This is the real education of life!”

After two months of intensive rehearsals, Director Liu Jian-ren sincerely said that all the fellow initiates had been very serious and cooperative, and they were the best drama group that he had ever seen. He said, “Each member was always very grateful at heart. I have learnt a very important lesson from Supreme Master Ching Hai, which is: As long as human beings exist, we should protect the lives of one another and protect all lives in this world. At the same time, we should appreciate everything. And, being about to complete this production, of course I am very thankful to Supreme Master Ching Hai for giving us the power, encouragement and help. Thank You very much, Master!”

The Taichung initiates thank Master for Her blessing and for sending them the director, lyrics writer, music composer, and lighting and stage technicians in time. Through this production they were able to awaken the love and concern in human beings towards animals, thus giving the animals the chance to live happily in this world.
