[Hualien] Predkratkim je center iz Hualien podaril Mojstričino najnovejšo knjigo Ptice v mojem življenju, 70-tim osnovnim šolam.

[Changhua] V zadnjem času je center iz Changhua naredil več aktivnosti za promoviranje najnovejše Mojstričine knjige Ptice v mojem življenju.

[Chiayi] 19. oktobra, Zlato leto 4 (2007) so učenci iz Chiayi centra odšli v dom za ostarele v Bo Ren in z njimi praznovali Dan ostarelih.

[Chiayi] 25. oktobra, Zlato leto 4 (2007) je center iz Chiayi pripravil knjižni večer v knjižnici Jin Zhen v mestu Puzih in predstavil najnovejšo Mojstričino knjigo, Ptice v mojem življenju.

[Hualien] Recently, our Hualien Center contributed Master’s new book, Ptice v mojem življenju, to more than 70 elementary schools, universities and libraries. All the recipients were very much delighted and repeatedly expressed their gratitude.

Notes written by Syuetian Primary School students after reading Master’s new book.

After reading the book, Principal Yang Chih-hsuan of Syuetian Primary School said that it would be listed as supplementary teaching material, a theme for art classes and extracurricular reading material. Some school principals and teachers were deeply touched by Master’s genuine love for animals. A university professor bought several copies and requested our Haulien Center to send them to students in remote areas. He said that this book by Master would be very beneficial for the early character development and elevation of students. When Principal Yang knew that the Hualien Center would also share with them Master’s latest DVD—The Dogs and Birds in My Life, he said enthusiastically that the moving and vivid images of the DVD would be even more effective, and he planned to show it to the whole school in the main hall.

 

[Changhua] Recently, the Changhua Center launched an activity to promote Master’s new book—Ptice v mojem življenju. It was given free of charge to 16 different groups such as women’s societies, radio stations, schools, local libraries, homes for the elderly, temples, camping centers, vegetarian food stands and even the County Magistrate’s Office. All recipients were delighted and grateful to receive the book and immediately browsed through it. The school libraries were especially overjoyed to add to their collection such a top-selling book of great educational significance.

When Ms. Xiao Xiu-mei, head of the Management Committee of the Qing Shui Yan Temple, received the book, she said that people who love birds and animals are very compassionate, and offered to place Master’s new book in a prominent place to be read by visitors. The temple has also been doing many things to protect wild birds and the environment. Ms. Xiao has always been impressed by our Association’s endeavors in advocating love and protection of animals, which in turn benefits sentient beings as well.

The Changhua fellow initiates are grateful to Master for bestowing such grace on the world. They believe that Ptice v mojem življenju will bring God’s love to the whole world, and the realization that “we are all one peaceful family” will come very soon!

 

[Chiayi] The Double Ninth Festival (also known as the Elder's Day) this year fell on October 19. Fellow initiates from the Chiayi Center prepared some vegetarian snacks and entertainment programs, and went to the Bo Ren Senior Citizens Home in Chiayi City to celebrate the festival with the folks living there. After the gathering, they distributed Master’s sample booklet and information about Supreme Master Television to everyone, thus putting a perfect ending to a day full of grace.

On October 25, Golden Year 4 (2007), the Chiayi Center was invited to hold an introductory session for Master’s new book—The Birds in My Life, at the Jin Zhen Library in Puzih City. Organized by a group of retired civil servants, the Puzih Reading Society has gatherings every month where members share ideas and insights from reading a selected book. This spirit of “live and learn until the last day” is truly the best example of lifetime learning. Usually, only 22 members attend the meetings. However, hearing about this book’s introductory session, 38 people came. that night.

Fellow initiates first played the video—Walk the Way of Love, to introduce Master to the guests. After that, a sister initiate guided everyone to appreciate this book, beginning from the cover design, the meaningful text and interesting illustrations, to the noble intention of the author. The sister also cited excerpts from Master’s videoconference with Formosan readers on August 24, to help the guests to understand more about Master’s main objective for publishing this book, and the message that She wants to convey to the readers.

In this book introductory session, everyone deeply acknowledged Master’s teachings and Her ideal of protecting animals. The president of the Society even immediately invited the fellow initiates to come again, to share with them the vegetarian lifestyle.
