[Leipzig] From March 13 to 16, Golden Year 5 (2008), Germany’s second largest book expo, the Leipzig Book Fair, attracted 219,000 visitors, the highest number in its history. Inspired by Master’s words at the recent Austria retreat, initiates from the UK, Austria and Germany ran a booth at the event to introduce Master’s books to the public. Through Master’s invisible guidance the sisters and brothers found a local hotel with a friendly, supportive staff that provided them with delicious vegan meals. With the help of the UK initiates, who founded Noble Creations Co. Ltd. with the goal of importing and distributing Master’s new books in Europe, initiates sought contacts with publishing companies at the Fair to release German versions of Master’s publications. Some initiates also went to downtown Leipzig and Dresden to distribute flyers on Supreme Master Television and the urgent message of global warming. At the event, many visitors were attracted by Master’s colorful books The Birds in My Life, The Dogs in My Life and The Noble Wilds. One little girl was so interested in The Noble Wilds that she took the time to read each page. And another woman commented, “The Birds in My Life should be included in the most beautiful book exhibition at the Fair.” Many pet caretakers resonate with the books’ message of loving animals, and the initiates were pleased to learn that the German version of Master’s books will soon be available.
Through the Fair, the initiates established contacts with several printing houses in Germany and Poland and with publishing companies in Germany. A woman from the largest German news agency DPA came to take photos of their booth. On the last evening of the event, the initiates interviewed Mr. Roland Hauptmann, the kind-hearted manager of an animal graveyard and an outspoken public speaker on the subjects of environmental preservation and combating climate change. The initiates are deeply grateful to Master for giving them the opportunity to participate in the Leipzig Book Fair to share Her special books with the public and to bring Her message of love and compassion to Leipzig and Dresden. They were inspired by all the people they met and hope that humankind will be awakened to the idea of cherishing and protecting Mother Earth and all Her inhabitants.
