Sharing the ‘Going Vegan to Save the Earth’ Message

By Hong Kong News Group (Originally in Chinese)
Warm Response at a Book Fair [Hong Kong] From July 20 to 26, Golden Year 8 (2011),
the 22nd Hong Kong Book Fair was held at the Hong Kong Convention
and Exhibition Centre, attracting nearly 950,000 visitors. Members
of our Association’s Hong Kong Centre took this precious opportunity
to share the Be Veg, Go Green to Save the Planet message. The Centre’s
exhibition booth drew much attention with a dazzling display featuring
Master’s books, Love of Centuries and From Crisis to Peace:
The Organic Vegan Way is the Answer as well as presentations of Master’s
video lectures and other information on environmental protection.
Many people requested copies of From Crisis to Peace and the Healthy
Vegan Era magazine. Also in demand were Master’s News magazines
and sample booklets, signifying an elevated consciousness among many
of the visitors. During the Fair, more than 9,000 copies of From Crisis
to Peace and 17,000 copies of the Healthy Vegan Era were distributed.
Hopefully, the enlightening information contained in these publications
will encourage many to make the positive change to the earth-saving
            vegan lifestyle.
Promoting the Plant-based Diet at a Campus Fair On November 19, Golden Year 8 (2011), the Hong Kong Center
was again invited to participate in a campus fair held by Shatin College
under the English Schools Foundation. Besides serving fresh, vegan
snacks for charity sale at our exhibition booth, we also shared the
message of World Vegan! World Peace! with the participants, many of
whom were interested in the vegan diet, purchased the delicious snacks,
made inquiries or read the information on display. Such events show
that more and more people are becoming interested in switching to
the plant-based diet for health reasons, and also to protect the environment
and the lives of our animal friends.
