Australian Prime Minister Receives SOS Flyer

 [Brisbane] Brisbane Center initiates have had an SOS stall every week in the busy Queen Street mall in the city-centre since March Golden Year 5 (2008), informing the public about the urgency of climate change and its solutions. On Friday May 9, the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honorable Kevin Rudd, surprised the shoppers by walking through the mall with his entourage. As he passed by the SOS stall, one of our sisters swiftly approached Mr. Rudd and presented him with both the SOS and Supreme Master TV flyers. Mr. Rudd stopped and spent several seconds reading the SOS flyer, looking at Master’s photo, then graciously accepted both flyers. In addition, the Koala mascot for the Wilderness Society also stopped by the SOS stall and signed the “veg4earth.org” petition.
May the world leaders heed the call for timely action on climate change and promptly bring about change for a better world.
