Creating a Compassionate and Vegetarian Global Village
Morocco

An Infinite Chain of Love
Is Linked in Morocco

By Paris News Group, France (Originally in French)

Morocco is a beautiful country in North Africa. It is Muslim and the people are very religious, they pray 5 times a day. The new and young King Mohammed VI does a lot for his people; and in his efforts to overcome poverty, he instills a spirit of hope in the country. Most of the people live on agriculture and you can find all kinds of vegetables, fruits, dates, almonds, peas everywhere, so it is easy to be a vegetarian there.

Most of the people in Morocco speak French because it was a French colony in the past. The idea of going there to present Master’s teachings was something the Paris brothers and sisters wanted to do for long time. With Master’s inspiration of Creating a Compassionate and Vegetarian Global Village all over the world by distributing the Alternative Living flyers, it was for us a great opportunity to go there and meet our Moroccan neighbors.

Along with one brother from Spain, we rented an apartment in Casablanca, one of the largest cities in Morocco, flew there, and then took a train from the airport to the city. Upon our arrival a little girl came over to give us a kiss, and to us this was like a welcome to Morocco. In exchange, we gave her some cookies for her and her brothers.

We worked in pairs and in three days almost 30,000 flyers had been distributed in four different cities, Casablanca, Al Jadida, Salé and Rabat the capital. On the fourth day, the police told us that we need a permit, it was forbidden to distribute like this in the streets. So the next day, in our attempts to get a permit, many people in authority, administration, the city hall and the police station were able to receive a copy of God’s message.

On the May 25, two more sisters and one brother arrived from France. They had found this website www.ahpae-marokanimo.com on the Internet. It was a Humane Society that was located in Casablanca, so we arranged to meet the president of this association, Ms Hanane Abdelmouttalib. This woman is like a saint. Her unconditional work and love for the protection of animals especially cats, dogs and donkeys touched us very deeply. We interviewed her and her friend. We showed her the video ‘The Real Heroes.’ She was very impressed by Master.

We arranged to have the leaflet in Arabic put in the Assabah newspaper on Saturday and Sunday. They print 90,000 copies of the newspaper each day and on both of those days the newspaper was sold out. On Monday, when we returned to the newspaper to ask them to print it again, the person in charge congratulated us for having shared this information with the public and told us that many people had called the newspaper to know more about us. It was also printed in French in the Economist newspaper.

Some people contacted us on our mobile phone and were interested to know more about our Association. So the day before we left Casablanca, we organized a small video conference in the apartment we had rented, showing Master’s lecture at the Parliament of World Religions in Cape Town and the first part of ‘The Hotel Called Life.’ The people were very moved by Master’s words and some learned the Convenient Method. After, in celebration, we shared a delicious vegetarian meal that had been prepared by a sister. Before leaving, we gave our new found friends some of Master’s publications and our Alternative Living T-shirts and the pendants with Master’s pictures that we had with us.

On May 31, one brother met with Dr. Abdelhamid Belemlih, the president of SPANA (Society for the Protection of Animals and Nature) in Temara. This association is one of the largest for animal protection. During the discussion, he told us that a Muslim could be a pure vegetarian.

At the end of this trip despite all of the obstacles, we felt that everything was Master’s arrangement; that every person we met was like an infinite chain of love. Even something which looked like an obstacle became a blessing or led us to something else showing us that everything is so perfect in God’s plan. Even though what we did in Morocco was very small, we felt so happy and grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in the spreading of more seeds of love in this corner of the world. Through these experiences, we have gained more strength, courage and willpower to continue to do this work more and more.

The people who learned the Convenient Method sent us an email. They thank God and Master for the chance to have been able to meet Her and learn the meditation. They are very happy with the meditation, have already noticed some inner changes, more peace, and have had good inner experiences. Inch’Allah (God bless).
