Master's Wonders

It Was My Master

By Fellow Initiate Chen, Hong Kong

Twenty years ago, around the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the weather was very dry, which often caused inflammation of my thyroid gland. One day as I looked toward the southeast, I saw a young lady in a long, white dress with a white scarf on her head. At first, I thought she was the transformation of Quan Yin Boddhisattva. However, according to legend, Quan Yin Boddhisattva is supposed to have a bottle of nectar water in her left hand and a branch of a willow tree in her right. I wondered why she had neither that day, only a bamboo cane in her right hand. Years later I saw a photograph of Master, which was the exact replica of what I had seen. I suddenly realized that it was Master’s transformation body that had come to see me.

Master’s transformation body holding a bamboo cane “floated” toward me until She was only a few feet away. As soon as She landed, She asked me, “How is it? Does it hurt?” I didn’t know what to say at that time. I could but hold onto my throat where it hurt.

Master massaged the affected area several times and told me, “Just do this when it hurts. You will get better. Do both sides the same way.”

She was right. Each time my thyroid gland got inflamed, I would do as Master had taught me and it did get better. At that time I was very dumb because I had hot learned the Quan Yin Method. When I came back to Earth consciousness, I remembered that I hadn’t even said “thank You.” I didn’t know Her name or where She lived. I regretted this for a long time afterward.

How fortunate for me that after twenty years, I met Master again. “Thank You, Master!”
