Story World - Reflections on Loving the Silent Tears: The Musical
Boundless
Love Spread through
By a fellow initiate from China
(Originally in Chinese) On October 27, Golden Year 9 (2012), I and a group of other initiates from China attended Loving the Silent Tears, a splendid, divine, once-in-a-lifetime event that has left us in bliss ever since. Upon arriving at the Shrine Auditorium before the musical, we were mesmerized by the layout of the venue, the costumes of the various ethnic groups in attendance, and the array of participants from around the world. As we entered the exhibition hall, the first thing that caught our eyes was a large, powerful photo of Master that made us feel as if She were right there in front of us, bringing us immense joy! We couldn’t wait to take photos with Master’s picture. When the show began, Master’s image appeared on the screen and excitement overtook me. Although I do not understand English, tears kept running down my face. I was deeply moved by Master’s love. Then the story of the musical unfolded. Amazing scenes, beautiful music, and gorgeous, graceful dancing brought an elegant gift to our eyes and hearts. Through the simple prop of a lone train carriage, the drama of life was on display. The development of the plot reminded me that only when we have learned to put down fortune, emotion, and attachment to the world can we board the train to the other Shore, and that all of humanity is one, big family under the guidance of God. The musical ended with a grand finale in an atmosphere of joy and peace, symbolizing the advent of the new, Golden Era. When we returned to our hotel, we were all still extremely excited, and shared our thoughts and experiences of the musical with one another. The next morning, a sister in our group had an inner vision in which Master’s transcendental body had come to visit us at the hotel in glorious apparel. Master smiled and said, “You should take the Love home!”
